Claudio Bonati

Claudio Bonati is assistant professor of theoretical physics at Pisa University and his research area stays at the boundary between high energy physics and statistical mechanics. More precisely his main research work consists in the investigation of the nonperturbative properties of strongly interacting gauge field theories, carried out by means of Monte Carlo simulations of the theory discretized on a space-time lattice. His involvement in quantum computing is related to the possibility of using quantum algorithm to investigate such topics as the phase diagram of Quantum Chromodynamics at nonvanishing baryon chemical potential, which so fare evaded all the attacks by means of classical algorithm.
