Alessandro Berti graduated cum laude in Computer Science (MSc) at the University of Pisa in 2020 and he is currently a Ph.D. student in Computer Science at the same university.During the Master’s degree, he approached the world of startups together with some friends with whom he developed a business idea. With this idea, they won a competition that took them to Silicon Valley for an immersion program on the acquisition of an entrepreneurial mindset. In 2019, he and his friends launched a podcast, the PointerPodcast, which focuses on the topic of innovation. In the same year, he collaborated with the Contamination Lab of the University of Pisa to promote the culture of entrepreneurship and innovation among students.During high school, he stumbled by chance into Quantum Computing. He has been fascinated by it until today, deciding to focus his Ph.D. on this potentially disruptive technology.
